Job 36:38 - Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?
We are called to dedicate our time to the Lord. We will grow in His wisdom. We will have something to share in the days ahead. He will reveal more and more of Himself as we pursue wisdom and are obedient in meeting with Him...sitting at His feet.
You may still wonder when you will be used. I believe you are being used but you don't recognize it in yourself. You have gifts that are so easy for you but in time He will expand those gifts. For now, however, just start where you are. He will open doors later and you will be amazed: at what doors and how you will be used.
Keep going to Him. Let Him show you what He wants to teach you. You will love it! You will continue to grow. He will be so glad you have opted to sit at His feet and learn. He has longed for this time. He is pleased. He knows your doubts but if you stay in His will, doubt will fade. You will still need to lean on Him for strength in difficult situations and He certainly does not want you to become too independent. Continue to need Him!
There is much you have to offer. If you continue to learn from Him He will open the doors. Don't peek first when the door is opened. Just walk through, despite any feelings of anxiety. Do not fear what man has to say or think. Do it as unto the Lord. It's not those anxieties of today that are as important as the days spent in Eternity. Do all things for the Kingdom.
Do not despair if you do not see instant results. Have patience. There is an order to God's ways. There are circumstances that need to occur and events that need to take place. Trust Him. He knows what is best. His wisdom is far greater than all others' and He knows what needs to be accomplished. Step by step, level by level. All in His perfect timing.
Your life is in His hands. He brought life to you and He will take it. But all the time in between, you are in His hands--you were in His hands even when you knew Him not. He had His eyes set upon you long ago. Like all others, He loves you just as much. His love has no boundaries and He loves you no more or less than anyone else. He is for all mankind--and He is for you alone. It's difficult for man to understand this kind of love. Just remember He is for you. He is all things to all people. That's why He's called Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent. There is no other.
His Word is true and just. Stand firm on His Word. Depart not from it. Devour it. Think on it. Speak it. He loves it when you talk about Him and His Word--not in the prideful way of man, although perhaps with pride that you choose to do so, but in love. You are respecting your Father, priding in Him, loving Him with your words about Him.
Be reminded that even in judgment His love is strong because He wants to continue to perfect you. He sees you as you will be, not who you now are. As you persevere, are strengthened and allow Him to work through you, He will bless you. Let those blessings come in abundance as you search for the truth of who He is and the truth of His word. He calls you His child and He rejoices for you and with you. Let this scripture resonate in your spirit today:
Zephaniah 3:17 - The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over you with singing.
Lord God, such promises no one else can give. I thank You for who You can be to everyone. I thank You that my days are ordered by You. I thank You that You rejoice over me. I will rejoice over You. I will love You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
