anger, Favor, Joy

Psalm 30:5 - For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. (‭Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭18‬)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (‭1John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬)
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He. (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32‬:‭4‬)
For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. (‭Psalms‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬)
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory...(‭2Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬)

We can claim all these promises when we receive Christ as Lord and Savior, confess our sins, serve Him. His anger subsides when we do this. His favor is then on us. What He does and says is true and just. He does not--cannot--lie.

For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. (‭Psalms‬ ‭47‬:‭2‬)
